The Garden Basket family owned supermarket is a Markham landmark, trusted by Markham and York Region families for 40 years.  We offer you a warm and welcoming shopping experience that can only be found through a family-owned store.

As foodies ourselves, we’re more up to date than other grocery stores and were known for the best selection and pricing on products and grocery items not found anywhere else. You will not find the kind of variety of brand name, specialty and organic foods in any other grocery store.

Being a family owned operation, we’re always in the store to serve you better, to make sure your shopping experience is an enjoyable one.  We’re patrons of our own store who shop and eat what we sell.

Our store is kid friendly, with child size shopping carts for the “shopper in training”. We don’t charge for grocery bags and we offer sanitary wipes and sprays throughout our store.
